The radial press connection technique is probably the best known method, in which the fitting is pressed radially from the outside onto the pipe. For metallic pipe systems such as copper or stainless steel, the application area is between 12 and 108 mm. In the area of composite and plastic pipes, we cover pipe diameters from 14-110 mm. As an all-rounder for every feat of strength, especially for special applications in the contract business or in industry, pressing tools are available for pressing up to 108 mm (metal) or even up to 168.3 mm.
The axial pipe connection, also known as a sliding sleeve system, offers an alternative processing technique. The sliding sleeve is pushed onto the pipe and the pipe is expanded using an expansion device. The fitting is then inserted into the expanded pipe. The permanent connection is then made using the axial pressing device and the corresponding sliding fork. Plastic pipe systems up to 40 mm pipe diameter can be pressed axially.
Regular maintenance is essential to ensure a long service life for your pressing device. This can be carried out by our factory service at our headquarters in Neuss. Alternatively, contact one of our over 100 service partners in your area.
